JOB DUTIES

Purpose of the Job:
To plan, develop, and put into place strategies to support retailers in sales initiatives in corporate businesses.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate companies goals into well studied strategies for adoption.
  • Oversee and evaluate market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market.
  • Overseeing strategic relations with retailers, especially MNOs.
  • Determine the best ways to plan and implement the approved businesses based on the company’s goals.
  • Coordinate the business plan and action plan preparation and review reporting.
  • Collaborate with the CD in the planning and preparation of the annual work plan/OKRs and budget; Ensure effective tracking and reporting of departmental progress towards annual goals set.
  • Review and analyze the sales performance for the company.
  • Support the preparation of the marketing activities plans.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing or Information Technologies, MBA would be preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ Experience in data/internet sales.
  • Should have Business development or other relevant experience in the telecom industry.
  • Should have a strong stakeholders management skills, able to confidently communicate and work with Executives in a corporate environment.
  • Should a delivery focused, pragmatic, able to multi-task and get things done in a faster way.
  • Should have excellent listening, sales advisory and presentation skills.
  • Should have excellent verbal and written communications skills.

JOB DUTIES

The objective of this position is to assist the company acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing ones; The Business Development Manager is also expected to ensure that the built business relationships last and to expand or the necessity to diversify its offers to the market.

  • Effectively manage large scale, complex contracts negotiations and close new business deals with retailers and other potential partners , working closely with the line managers.
  • Developing, advising on the implementation of new products & solutions.
  • Development of marketing strategy and plan [Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning]
  • Identifying and coordinating the implementation of needed support to customers (ISP/MNOs).
  • Develop and coordinate pricing strategies /policy.
  • Support the business development to ensure proper tariff for the company products & services.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of daily, weekly and monthly report or other requested reports by the Line management.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or other related field or a related field, an MBA is preferred, but not required
  • Must have at least a minimum of 5 years’ Experience in data/internet sales/business development .
  • Should have proven account management or other relevant experience in the telecom industry.
  • Must have strong stakeholders management skills, able to confidently communicate and work with Executives in a corporate environment.
  • Should be a delivery focused, pragmatic person, able to multi-task and get things done in a faster way.
  • Should have excellent listening, sales advisory and presentation skills.
  • Should have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must demonstrate unquestionable integrity in every aspect of work and dealing with others
